Paralegal Degrees

Paralegals do much of the work that lawyers used to, but with far fewer educational requirements. An exciting career in the legal field can be obtained with only a paralegal certificate or paralegal associate degree.

Though paralegals can't try cases in court or give legal advice, they can compose contracts, file documents, and do research. Paralegals often prepare briefs and interview witnesses for lawyers.

Paralegals and legal secretaries are in demand, and many of today's lawyers wouldn't be able to function without them. Find out more about what paralegals do and paralegal colleges to see if this might be the career you've been searching for.
